QualificationsThe Minimum Qualification Requirements are:1. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Golf Course Superintendent as described in duties above (management of the daily maintenance, repair and playing conditions of the entire area of the Golf course facility).
2. Experience directing and supervising all subordinate maintenance employees in all phases of the daily golf course maintenance; mowing practices, irrigation, corrective and preventive chemical applications, and fertilization of necessary areas.
3. Ensure development and execution of a preventive maintenance plan with cyclical cleaning and maintenance of all maintenance vehicles and turf equipment.
4. Must be able to obtain a DOD Pest Management Certificate. Working knowledge of chemicals used on insects and for weeds and brush control.
IN ADDITION Must have a four-year degree in Agronomy; or, 24 semester hours in major study in botanical grass/plants and three additional years' experience as a Golf Course Superintendent that provided the candidate with knowledge of types of grasses, diseases, chemicals, and golf course maintenance practices that lead to health golf course playing conditions.

Essential Responsibilities- Manages all aspects of the Pro Shop Operation, Tournament Operations and outside support operations (i.e. club storage, carts, starters/monitors and driving range operations) with direct supervision over the outside supervisor and the Pro Shop staff.
- Assigns employees to specific duties consistent with workload and program requirements. Ensures that the entire clubhouse facility and its surroundings are maintained in a neat and clean manner at all times.
- Coordinates with the General Manager and informs assigned employees of policy changes. Supervises the planning, scheduling, coordinating and assists the event activity in all aspects of conducting an organizational, outside.
- Supervisor when the event includes food. Supports General Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all facility events when necessary. Produces an annual buying plan for the Pro Shop.
- Conducts end of the month pro shop inventories and provides training to all pro shop employees in golf shop procedures. Oversees the timely opening and closing of the Shop to include proper activation and deactivation of the security/alarm system.

- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must have a valid driver's license.

A qualified candidate must possess the following Incumbent must have experience in the overall management of a golf facility and in the supervising of at least one function of a golf facility, such as pro shop, sale administration, planning and scheduling tournaments or establishing administrative procedures and policies.The experience may have included funds accountability, requisitioning, and supply procedures.Must have experience in the GHIN system and know all aspects of amateur golf rules and regulations.Must have knowledge of golf-related equipment and merchandise.Must have experience in all aspects of tournament operation.Must have ability to manage and maximize a tee-sheet. A PGA Class -A membership is preferred.Will be required to work an uncommon tour of duty.
