The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Financial Adviser to step into a high-impact role within our growing Wealth team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality financial advice to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through strategic planning and investment solutions. You will be expected to build strong client relationships and lead a team of junior advisers to maintain service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
o Provide tailored financial advice to a diverse range of clients including individuals, families, and business owners and entities like Trusts, SMSF’s.
o Conduct in-depth client reviews, identifying financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment needs.
o Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies including retirement planning, wealth management, tax planning, and estate planning.
o Manage and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring consistent communication and service excellence.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
o Ensure all financial advice and practices comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
o Maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial transactions in line with compliance requirements.
o Participate in regular training and professional development to stay compliant with regulatory changes.
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
o Provide guidance and mentorship to junior advisers and support staff.
o Lead by example in client servicing, strategic thinking, and ethical practice.
o Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes growth and development.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in financial planning or advisory roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA), or equivalent qualification.
Deep understanding of financial products, investment strategies, tax laws, and retirement planning.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build lasting client relationships
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.
Skills and Attributes:
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to financial advising.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team mentorship.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
High proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
