Job Summary
The Program Manager initiates, plans, executes, monitors, and controls all components of the contract. This position serves as the primary point of contact with the Government and has the authority to act or make decisions on behalf of the Contractor. The Program Manager represents the Contractor in all matters related to providing on-site services under the contract and oversees all aspects of the project to include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
Specific Responsibilities
- Represent the Contractor in all matters related to providing on-site services under the contract
- Meet with Government personnel on site as needed
- Manage and review documents to include the Quality Control Plan (QCP), safety program, property inventory list, risk and contingency plan, and environmental management plan
- Oversee all day-to-day operational requirements and work with subcontractors; ensure the completion of reports to include invoicing
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines; comply with all governmental security policies and procedures on training sites
- Serve as point of contact with the Government and has the authority to act or make decisions on behalf of the Contractor
- Oversee all aspects of the project to include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope
- Prepare reports regarding status of work and brief appropriate personnel
- Work directly with COR to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Perform risk management to minimize the scope of work risks
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based upon financial analysis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in management of projects
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to pass a background check and preemployment drug screen
- Has a working knowledge/understanding of military protocol and chain of command and can maintain effective, cooperative working relationship with military and civilian workforce
- DOD Security clearance preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Desired)
- Prior military experience (Desired)
