Description

Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering; Rockwell Collins Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace (Melbourne, FL). National & intl travel required up to 2x/yr. Execute objectives for requirements mgmt, reliability, logistics, coord of different teams, eval measurements for projects. Must have bach or equiv in Sys/Elec/Avionics Eng’g or rltd field & at least 8 yrs progressive exp as Systems Engineer or rltd role in avionics industry (OR MA or its equiv & 5 yrs exp). Must have 5 yrs exp w/: use & application of sys eng’g principles & techniques; performing hardware testing, integration & troubleshooting for fielded products; safety critical prod dev for Avionics domain; analysis of systems of high complexity; Systems reqs dev, analysis & decomp. Must have 2 yrs exp w/: analyzing & developing Systems Architecture; agile dev processes; & demonstrable knowledge of the following avionics industry standards: RTCA DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, & DO-297.
