National Capitol ContractingPosition Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Orlando, FL. Secret Clearance Required.
NCC is seeking a Photography Lead to support an upcoming contract (*contingent upon award*). The Photography Lead serves as the primary point of contact for the Government in the resolution of all technical and personnel issues related to photographic services. This position provides hands-on leadership while actively participating in the delivery of professional still photography products and services required under the contract.
The Photography Lead is an integral member of the operational workforce and is responsible for producing, editing, and delivering photographic products in support of official ceremonies, events, command requirements, media releases, and time-sensitive mission needs. This position is not limited to coordination functions and requires direct involvement in photographic production.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government in the resolution of all technical and personnel issues within the photography service area.
- Provide professional still photography in support of official ceremonies, command events, briefings, and other Government requirements.
- Capture photographic and graphic imagery for time-sensitive or perishable information, media releases, and location-based photography.
- Produce and deliver Official Government Passport Photographs in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
- Edit, process, and deliver high-resolution digital images in appropriate formats to meet Government specifications.
- Apply and maintain proper metadata tagging for all photographic products in accordance with Government and archival requirements.
- Ensure photo release compliance and documentation for all photographic activities.
- Maintain quality control to ensure photographic products meet the highest professional standards.
- Coordinate daily photography tasking, priorities, and workload distribution within the photography team.
- Review photographic products prior to delivery to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with Government requirements.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager and Government personnel to ensure photography services align with mission needs and schedules.
- Maintain professional customer service standards when supporting Government personnel at all levels.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Secret government security clearance.
- Minimum four (4) years of working with military organizations within the field of photography (It does NOT require prior active military experience.)
- High School Diploma.
- A two (2) year technical degree in photography may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
- Proficiency in professional still photography techniques and equipment.
- Experience editing and processing digital imagery for official Government use.
- Knowledge of photo release requirements and metadata standards.
- Ability to support high-visibility and time-sensitive photography missions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
