How you will make an impact:
The primary goal is to provide effective TSG maintenance planning to optimize manufacturing efficiency and uptime as well as preparing the TSG maintenance personnel for optimum work while minimizing wasted time. The TSG Maintenance Planner must continually develop a sound understanding of the equipment and facilities in the areas of responsibility and focus on maximizing machine uptime through sound predictive and preventive maintenance practices. The TSG maintenance planner will work closely with the TSG Supervisor by discussing current jobs, progress of current jobs, future work and priorities. The Planner will also assist the TSG Supervisor in solving problems of significant nature. The TSG Maintenance Planner must maintain excellent working relationships with the TSG Supervisor, TSG maintenance staff, engineering, manufacturing and process control.
- Plan and coordinate daily activities for the mechanical maintenance team to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and distribute the daily work schedule by 2 PM, based on backlog and priorities.
- Maximize mechanic productivity by ensuring all required parts, tools, manuals, and instructions are identified and available before work begins.
- Collaborate with the TSG Supervisor to stage pre-planned jobs and ensure readiness prior to execution.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to increase equipment uptime and reliability.
- Procure and manage parts, tools, and technical documentation for planned maintenance and repairs, including vendor coordination for quotes and technical support.
- Oversee receipt and verification of all parts and materials to ensure job readiness.
- Enhance preventive maintenance programs by monitoring effectiveness, updating schedules, and adding equipment as needed.
- Manage work order backlog and preventive maintenance tasks using JDE and automated tracking tools.
- Serve as senior technician within the group, providing hands-on support for complex issues and acting as backup for the TSG Supervisor when required.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
- High School Diploma with minimum 5 years' experience in support services or production.
- 5+ years' experience in Paper or Paper related industry.
- 5+ years' of relevant mechanical experience in paper or related industry or service, as mechanical aptitude is a must
Preferred:
- Ability to lead TSG personnel and to effectively prioritize workloads and apply resources to provide effective manufacturing support.
- To act as liaison between select service groups, engineering and manufacturing when handling projects in cooperation with Engineering/Process Control.
- Effective time management
- Effective communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, within and outside the company, both written and verbal.
- Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause failure analysis skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, JD Edwards, MS Word, MS Excel)
- Must be proficient in JDE or similar CMMS computer software
- Detailed, and organized, record keeping ability
- Most technically competent, and skilled, candidate will be selected

The salary range for this role is $40.23 hourly. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
