In partnership with the Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), we are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Manager (Logistics Management Information Data) / Logistics Analyst III to provide expert logistics and sustainment support for Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs.This role will directly support the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Life Cycle Sustainment Planning and Management, working alongside the Government Project Lead and subject matter expert (SME) logisticians to ensure mission readiness and long-term sustainment success.
Job Duties:
• Configuration Management: Control and update Program and Product Support documentation.• Documentation Oversight: Establish, review, and submit logistics documentation in accordance with PM AAA requirements.
• Requirements Development: Identify and define logistics support requirements for system-level and sub-tier specifications.
• Supportability Analysis: Conduct assessments and logistical analyses to optimize sustainment strategies.
• Lifecycle Support: Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) meetings, and Life Cycle sustainment reviews.
• Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs): Prepare, conduct, and analyze ILAs and Program Office Logistics Reviews.
• Cost Analysis: Evaluate Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) for logistics elements and manage ILA databases, system specifications, Acquisition Plans (APs), Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), Configuration Management Plans (CMPs), Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), and environmental/safety documentation.
• Compliance Review: Assess program documents and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) deliverables for adherence to logistics statutes, policies, and standards.
• Logistics Management Information (LMI) Development: Author and enter LMI into authoritative databases for PM AAA product lines.
• Test Support: Develop recommended parts lists, coordinate supply/maintenance support, and maintain records of test support activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze Test Incident Reports (TIRs) and recommend changes to parts lists, supply chains, and maintenance arrangements.
Additional Responsibilities:• Develop and execute provisioning strategy, including parts acquisition, cataloging, storage, inventory management, and disposal.
• Analyze and update logistics databases and supply tools; conduct enterprise-level data reviews (e.g., Global Combat Support SystemMarine Corps (GCSS-MC)).
• Lead planning and execution of maintenance concepts; define initial spare parts and support equipment baselines.
• Provide Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support; coordinate annual plan updates with Integrated Product Team (IPT) stakeholders.
• Assist in platform fielding and turnover, including inventory, inspection, transfer documentation, and Technical Manual (TM) validation.
• Support equipment delivery readiness and document turnover from vendor to Government.
• Record and submit meeting minutes and progress reports in accordance with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) A001.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in defense logistics, with at least 5 years supporting USMC or DoD acquisition programs.
• Deep understanding of DoD acquisition life cycle and logistics policies.
• Proficiency in logistics databases and tools such as Power Log-J, COMPASS, WEBFLIS, ASSIST, CATALYST and SLICwave.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Engineering Change Process a plus.
• Familiarity with twelve logistics elements.
Specific/Preferred Requirements
• Provisioning, maintenance, and overhaul planning.
• Packaging, handling, shipping, and transportation (PHS&T).
• Maintenance execution and design interface support.
• Technical publications (Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and overhaul manuals).
• Minimum Clearance Required: SECRET with the ability to obtain TS when Need to Know is required.
Required Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting PM AAA, Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), or United States Marine Corps (USMC) acquisition programs.• Deep expertise in logistics planning and sustainment for ACV and Assault Amphibious Vehicle AAV7A1 platforms.
• Proficiency with USMC logistics systems: GCSS-MC, Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), and Logistics Data Analysis Reporting Tool (L-DART).
• Strong knowledge of DoD product support elements and Integrated Product Support (IPS) strategy development.
• Proven ability to create and maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) artifacts (Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Maintenance Plans, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records).
• Hands-on experience with Configuration Management systems (e.g., CMPro, Windchill).
• Experience supporting ILAs and milestone reviews (e.g., Milestone C, Full Rate Production (FRP)).
• Skilled in Excel-based logistics analytics and sustainment reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for senior-level briefings and stakeholder coordination.
• Active participation in logistics engineering activities (SETRs, WIPTs, supportability analyses).
• Experience developing and maintaining technical logistics documentation (SEPs, CMPs, IMPs, IMSs, Environmental, Safety & Health documents).
• Ability to review contractor-submitted program documents for compliance and adequacy.
