Starting Salary Range: $26 - $29/hour; depending on experience

Position Overview:
Provide first level of support for computer users, ensure information is current, and provide installation, troubleshooting and training services as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install hardware and components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.
- Computer hardware & software troubleshooting
- Computer upgrades such as hard drives & ram.
- System Imaging, load appropriate software packages (i.e., operating systems, networking components and office applications).
- Setup user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365
- Setup cell phones and desk phones
- License software packages to ensure compliance, asset tracking, and monitor inventory.
- Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet user's requirements.
- Provide one-on-one computer/telephone support to employees in-house and on job sites.
- Connect users to networks and provide initial training in applications.
- Communicates project status, updates, and completion information to managers and/or users. Tracks support requests using help desk ticketing software.
- Create technical and end user documentation.
- Regular attendance and promptness are considered part of each employee's essential job functions.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Back up IT Operations Supervisor's duties when needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Technical knowledge of Desktop hardware and operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer-service orientation
- Ability to be receptive to new changes to software, procedures, and policies.
- Willing to work as a team and with other employees.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- None.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 1 year of related work experience desired
Required Licensing and Other Certifications:
- Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
