- Healthcare Regulatory Associate
Description
Gallagher LLP seeks an experienced health care regulatory and transactional lawyer to join its health law practice representing a variety of health care providers, including health systems, hospitals, nursing homes, physician groups, and other individual and institutional providers.
The candidate will conduct regulatory analyses and advise clients on a variety of legal issues involving federal and state healthcare laws, including the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement rules, HIPAA, and other state and federal privacy laws. The candidate should be prepared to draft, review, and negotiate healthcare legal agreements, including employment and professional services agreements, vendor agreements, business associate agreements, joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and organizational governance documents.

Requirements
The candidate must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience working on federal and state health care regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters, including government and regulatory agency enforcement actions.
