Recently named “Ohio’s Best Hometown”, the City of Lebanon, Ohio, (population 21,483) is seeking a visionary leader to join their electric department as Deputy Director.
Serving as the county seat of Warren County, Lebanon is one of Ohio’s most cherished historic communities. The City’s Electric Department operates with a team of 21 and a $60,000,000 Budget. The team operates and maintains over 190 miles of electric transmission and distribution lines. The generation includes a 9MW utility solar array and 20MW of natural gas-fueled reciprocating engine. The system relies on 10,000 electrical meters.
The next Deputy Director should bring municipal experience in serving electrical customers and a positive, team-oriented approach to the position. This opportunity in Lebanon is a rare one. Salary:
$120,000 - $140,000

Requirements
Qualifications:
The Deputy Director of Electrical Engineering will serve as a critical member of the Electrical Division and the City management team. Qualified candidates should hold a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering through an ABET accredited university, at least five (5) years of documented electrical utility experience in either the public or private sector, possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License, and have outstanding communication and public service skills. Engineering Intern (EI or EIT) professional certification is preferred.
