Description
You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Data Domain Architect. You have found the right team.We are seeking a Data Architect Associate with 5+ years of experience to support product development, business growth, and customer experience through effective data management. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the Reference Data System and hierarchy, ensuring data quality, compliance, and operational efficiency along with development of Data Marts in Databricks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Reference Data Platform and AWS cloud, collaborating with Databricks/Data Mart teams for accurate data publication.
- Maintain and update hierarchies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and reporting needs.
- Assist in developing and delivering product data to support business - analytics, and reporting.
- Document and maintain metadata for critical data, including inflows, outflows, and dependencies. Ensure data quality by monitoring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Resolve data issues and support compliance with Firmwide policies and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data usage and provide subject matter expertise. Track work streams and KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop and implement processes for data risk management, including data protection, retention, and quality. Regularly review and update Reference Data System configurations to support evolving business needs.
- Coordinate with Finance and Reporting teams to ensure ESSBASE and Databricks structures support accurate financial reporting and analytics.
- Automate data feeds and hierarchy updates where possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Provide training and support to business users on Reference Data and ESSBASE hierarchy changes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years in data management, data engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with Reference Data Systems, ESSBASE, AWS, Databricks, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC.
Location:
Role is based in Bengaluru office, evening shift (2 PM to 11 PM IST). The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
