Overview

The Country Head of Consulting - Indonesia serves as the market leader, responsible for the overall performance, growth, and delivery of consulting and managed services across all sectors. This senior leadership role combines commercial, delivery, and people leadership to build presence in one of the region's most important growth markets.

Operating as part of the APAC Professional Services leadership team, this role owns the Indonesia P&L, drives client success, and develop brand and capability in-country. The leader will oversee major accounts, lead delivery quality, and act as both a trusted client executive and a domain subject matter expert - preferably in Technology Strategy Consulting or Data Consulting .

The role operates through a combination of local delivery teams and shared regional competency resources (both onshore and offshore), ensuring that Indonesia clients benefit from the full suite of Cloud, Data, AI, and Transformation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Leadership & Growth

• Own the Indonesia market P&L, accountable for revenue, profitability, and portfolio growth across all clients.
• Define and execute go-to-market strategy for Indonesia, in partnership with the regional Sales and Competency Leads.
• Act as the senior representative in Indonesia - building trusted relationships with enterprise and government clients, industry associations, and partners.
• Drive portfolio expansion in key sectors such as financial services, insurance, and telecommunications.
• Lead strategic pursuits, renewals, and growth planning, ensuring a healthy and sustainable pipeline.

Client & Delivery Oversight

• Serve as Client Executive for anchor Indonesia accounts, ensuring delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.
• Oversee large multi-competency programs delivered from or within Indonesia, ensuring business outcomes and delivery excellence.
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, working closely with regional competency leaders and governance functions.
• Implement consistent project governance, delivery standards, and escalation mechanisms across local engagements.

Collaboration & Integration

• Partner closely with competency heads (Cloud & Infrastructure, Strategy & Data, Managed Services) to bring the best capabilities to Indonesia clients.
• Leverage the India Global Competency Centre and regional offshore resources for efficient delivery and cost management.
• Work collaboratively with Sales leadership to develop account plans and drive cross-sell opportunities across domains.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulatory, tax, and employment requirements.

People & Culture Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing Indonesia consulting team, fostering a strong local culture of delivery excellence and collaboration.
• Oversee recruitment, mentoring, and development of Indonesia-based practitioners, in alignment with regional competency career frameworks.
• Promote company culture, values, and employee engagement across all Indonesia operations.
• Thought Leadership & Market Positioning
• Represent the business in Indonesia's digital transformation ecosystem - at conferences, partner events, and client forums.
• Develop and publish perspectives relevant to the Indonesia market (e.g. cloud modernisation, data strategy, AI adoption, tech workforce transformation).
• Position the offering as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and digital leaders across Indonesia's enterprise and public sectors.

Experience Required

• 10+ years of senior consulting or technology leadership experience in Indonesia, ideally across multiple industries.
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end delivery and client portfolios within consulting , managed services , or digital transformation environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one domain - Technology Strategy , Cloud & Infrastructure , Data Platforms , or AI/Analytics .
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience owning P&L performance.
• Extensive network and understanding of Indonesia's enterprise and technology landscape, including cultural and regulatory nuances.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior client stakeholders (CXO level).
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
