As a KYC Manager within the KYC Operations team, you will oversee a team of Analysts and Reviewers to ensure all client KYC records meet regulatory standards. You will drive high-quality and timely completion of due diligence requirements at onboarding and renewal stages. You will also proactively improve processes and manage escalations to maintain firmwide quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand and implement KYC standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Select, manage performance, and develop employees within the assigned team
- Analyze daily and monthly metrics to evaluate team performance and capability
- Effectively address escalated issues from internal or external customers
- Drive process improvements and implement necessary changes
- Create an effective team through continuous communication and timely feedback
- Manage priorities across the wider function
- Ensure timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements
- Maintain high customer service standards in resolving inquiries and escalations
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and firmwide quality standards
- Support strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Hold a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree
- Demonstrate 9+ years' experience in Financial Services with AML, KYC, and compliance expertise
- Lead new teams with limited Subject Matter Expertise
- Exhibit outstanding client management, partnership building, and leadership skills
- Utilize computer skills in Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office Suite
- Foster and champion a High Performance Culture
- Develop and lead a team responsive to organizational and operational changes

- Demonstrate experience in managing KYC operations in a global bank
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Adapt quickly to regulatory and process changes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
